TEEN diva Diana Vickers is facing a wave of opposition from show fans riled by her claw-like hand movements.

Thousands have joined a campaign to get the 17-year-old kicked out because of her irritating finger-curling, face-stroking antics.

At least 20 groups, attracting more than 8,000 members in all, have been set up on social networking website Facebook to lobby for the teenager to get the boot.

The founder of one – called “I want to pull Diana Vickers’ hand off and slap her with it” – writes: “Watching her sing is very very irritating.”

And Marcus Newman, 23, who has set up the group “Show Diana Vickers’ left hand the middle finger”, said: “She’s the most annoying contestant they’ve ever had.”

Diana, of Accrington, Lancs, has been at the centre of a favouritism row after Alexandra Burke, 20, performed last week with laryngitis.

Diana received a bye three weeks ago when she had the illness.
