TOP cop Ali Dizaei was yesterday jailed after attacking a website designer over a £600 fee.


The Metropolitan Police commander, right, threatened to “f*** up” the life of Waad al Baghdadi, 24, below, then lied about the confrontation.

Iraqi Dizaei, 47, who was convicted of misconduct and perverting justice, will spend two years in jail and two more on licence.

Police Complaints Commission chief Nick Hardwick branded the former Metropolitan Black Police Association president a “criminal in uniform” after the case at Southwark Crown Court.

Metropolitan Police chief Sir Paul Stephenson called Dizaei’s behaviour “disgraceful”.
