FOOTIE FAN DIES
ABOVE: Police cordon off an area in the stands
A FOOTBALL fan critically injured at Stoke’s Britannia Stadium died in hospital yesterday.
Blackburn Rovers supporter John Taylor, 30, form Darwen, Lancs, was found collapsed just in a concourse where a group of Rovers supporters were gathered during Saturday’s match.
A police spokesman said no Stoke fans were involved but a 25-year-old man is still in custody.
