RICKY BUTCHER STAG-DO VICTIM THINKS HE’S IN FRANCE
POOR Ricky Butcher thinks he’s been dumped in France after being tied up, blindfolded and driven off in the back of a van during his drunken stag do.
But the hapless groom is still very much in Albert Square when he’s discovered by stepmum Pat Evans.
And as our picture shows, Pat falls about in hysterics when Ricky starts trying to speak to her in French.
The hilarious scenes take place after Ricky, who is due to wed Bianca Jackson for the second time, is kidnapped by his fellow stags. They dress him as a French maid, lock him in the back of a van and pretend they are going to take him to France.
So when it all kicks off at home following the return of Bianca’s mum Carol it’s up to Pat to find out where the hell Ricky has got to.
Shock
She calls his mobile as she walks around the Square and gets a shock when she hears it ringing from a nearby van.
It’s then she realises he must be inside – but even she isn’t prepared for the state she finds him in.
An insider said: “Ricky nearly missed his first wedding to Bianca after being dumped in the middle of a field in Kent just hours before the ceremony kicked off.
“He thought he was in France and with the likes of Phil Mitchell never forgetting that first stag do, they decide to play a similar trick on him.
“So when Pat finds him he’s so convinced he’s in France he starts trying to speak the lingo.
“Pat finds the whole thing hilarious but realises she’s got to take him home to face both Bianca and her mum. He’s in a right old state but at least he’s still in England.”
Fans of the hit BBC1 soap will be able to catch all the action a week on Tuesday.
