JAMES DEGALE BLOWS TOP
JAMES DeGALE has hit out at his rivals, saying he can’t wait to knock them all out.
The 2008 Olympic gold medallist fights Surrey’s Matthew Barr at Wembley Arena on Saturday.
But James DeGale, 24, is already looking ahead to facing foes like undefeated Londoner George Groves.
Groves, 21, beat DeGale in a 2006 amateur bout and his promoter Hayemaker last week offered DeGale £50,000 for the pair to meet in Manchester on April 3.
DeGale blasted: “I would love to knock out that ugly ginger kid Groves.
“Everyone is living off my name to get their own fame. I’m confident of knocking them all out.”
DeGale’s promoter Frank Warren said: “We are focusing on February 13th and then he will make the decision.”
