BRIT squaddies have been warned they will be in Afghanistan for another 15 years.

The war-ravaged country is nowhere near ready to look after itself.

It is plagued by terrorist attacks and corruption at the highest levels.

President Hamid Karzai admitted it will take a decade to fully train local police and soldiers.

Until they’re ready, our heroes will continue putting their lives on the line to protect innocent citizens.

So far, 251 soldiers have died since the war began in 2001.

Hundreds, maybe thousands, more Brits may be murdered by the Taliban before we pull out.

One is too many.

We now have to do whatever it takes to ensure Our Boys come home in one piece.

If that means doing a deal with the Taliban to lay down their arms then so be it.

This endless death and destruction cannot continue.
