DANCING ON ICE: JEREMY SHEFFIELD LEFT LIKE A 'BLEEDING CASUALTY'

ABOVE: Former Holby City doctor Jeremy Sheffield says Dancing On Ice has left him "a bleeding casualty"
26th January 2010

FORMER Holby City doc Jeremy Sheffield says Dancing On Ice left him “a bleeding casualty”.

The actor – booted off Sunday night’s show – suffered a string of injuries during training.

Now he admits he’s actually relieved to be gone. Jeremy, 43, said: “My hips were so sore after Sunday they were bleeding. I feel battered. My wrist hurt doing the lifts. And before Christmas I pulled a hamstring. I am sad but relieved to go. At least it means no more pain.”

Jeremy is pleased he went out on a high – losing in a skate-off against Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies, 47, in a show watched by 9.6m.

Meanwhile, sexy Inbetweeners babe Emily Atack, 20, was left almost in tears when TV judge Jason Gardiner slated her performance.

He told her: “You have a pretty face but the leg lines of a 90-year-old.” A pal said: “She’s never felt fitter or sexier. She was upset.”
