THE original garage boy is back but instead of re-e-winding back to the sound of 1999/2000 - which is so proving popular with many of his chart peers - Craig's sampled an old Four Tops song and added the kind of beat you hear thumping out of clubs in high season San Antonio.
COULD this be the last single Cheryl releases as Cheryl COLE?
THE last collaboration between these two pop powerhouses (on Beyonce single Video Phone) was a curiously dull affair.

SINGLE - WILL YOUNG: HOPES & FEARS

ABOVE: Very lilting and melodic
16th November 2009

By Sarah-Louise James

WHILE the voice is as warm and cosy as treacle pudding, the chorus is reminiscent of early noughties Ronan Keating.

Like Rollercoaster or Lovin’ Each Day, it’s all very lilting and melodic.

It’s perfectly nice and there’s even a synth breakdown towards the ¾ point of the song.

But on the whole, it sounds like Will has run out of ideas.

It would be nice to seeing him taking his original nu-jazz sound and funking it up a bit into something a little dancier, a little dirtier.

Maybe next time Will?
