KATIE Price has been given a Halloween fright night after being issued with Mafia-style death threats.

Police were called in to investigate after the glamour babe and boyfriend Alex Reid reported threatening messages that had been published on a cage-fighting website.

The sick threats even boasted about plans to slaughter the babe’s horses.

Last night a source close to Jordan, 31, admitted: “The threats have been really nasty. But it’s the threat to kill her
horses that made the most impact. It’s like something out of The Godfather.

“Police have been called and a complaint has been made. Katie is just doing her best to move forward but it can’t help but be a worry.”

Last night a spokesman for Hampshire Police said: “Yesterday evening we attended an address in Aldershot after
receiving information relating to inappropriate and threatening comments that were made on a website.

“They have caused some concern. We are continuing to make some inquiries around these reports.”

But last night Katie played down the threats, with sources close to her saying they were “a storm in a teacup”.

Meanwhile, it seems all is not well between Katie and Alex, 34, as sources say she has ditched her idea to have
each other’s names tattooed on their bodies.

The plans were in tatters last night as Jordan headed to the Blood-lust Halloween Ball at Hampton Court House in Surrey.

A source said: “It must be something in the air around Halloween. Katie and Alex have been bickering about this for a while.

“A few months back Katie told Alex she wanted to get the tattoos – just like she did with Peter Andre. The problem was, Alex was not keen at first.

“It was early days and he was not sure. As you can imagine, this put Jordan’s nose right out of joint.

“She accused Alex of not being committed to her. Then he turned round and said, ‘OK, I’ll have the tattoo done’. But Katie is not interested now.”

The couple spent much of last week apart, with Katie travelling to Dublin on Friday to promote her new book.

Meanwhile Peter, 36, took children Junior, four, and Princess Tiaamii, two, to a party near his home in Brighton.
