JORDAN: I'M GOING CRACKERS

ABOVE: Katie says she won't let the taunts get to her / wenn.com
30th October 2009

By Gemma Wheatley

SCORNED Kate Price says she is being bullied into having a nervous breakdown in a bid to send her to The Priory.

The model, 31, says she is being continuously bashed until she caves under the pressure of her marriage breakdown.

She reckons that ex-husband Peter Andre, 36, and his fans are dying to see her crumble mentally.

She said: “People can be cruel. I think they are trying to make me have a breakdown and end up in The Priory.

“But I won’t let it get me down. I know what is right or wrong, and so do my family and friends.”

Speaking on Radio 1, she added: “I will retire when people are bored of me. But thanks to the public, they’re still keeping me here.”

But yesterday a new poll by Acriflex Cooling Burns Gel, to discover which  celebs were no longer on

fire, found nearly half the nation reckon her career is already all washed up.

A thumping 41% say 2009 has seen Kate’s fortunes decline heavily, with only Kerry Katona, 29, and Prime Minister Gordon Brown, 58, doing worse.

But Kate said: “I like the knockdowns, they’ve just made me really strong.”

Yesterday she had children Junior, four, and Princess, two, with her at a book signing in Chelmsford, Essex.
