PRICE cuts to fight off competition from rivals have helped consumer goods giant Unilever post forecast-busting sales.
The Dove Soap to Pot Noodle maker recorded a better than expected 1.8% rise in fourth-quarter sales. Total sales for 2009 fell 1.7% to £34.5billion and profits fell 6% to £3.4billion.[>
